Living in our moments means that we let go of the past. We let go of all of our attachments to the past and all of our past stories. Letting go means forgetting. Forgetting can seem a little scary and we can be very resistant to forgetting at times. But it is okay to forget.
Take a deep breath and let it go.
Living in our moments also means that we let go of the future. We let go of all of our expectations about what might happen and what we want to happen. We sometimes think we can control things by worrying about them, but we cannot. To live in our moments we must let that notion go. We must stop trying to control what is beyond our control.
Take a deep breath and let it be.
Living in our moments means that we experience life as it happens. We use all of our senses. We become aware, alert and focused on what is happening right now. We are centered in our selves and we are grateful for what is in front of us at this time.
This moment is where all of our power is. We can make effective changes in this moment. There is nothing we can do about the past or the future – but this moment is ours.
