Take some moments today to just be. To be present and aware. To be in touch with your spirit – your life – your self.
Stop and listen to what is happening around you. Listen to your own thoughts. Pay attention to your surroundings. Breathe in some fresh air. Take time to taste your food fully as you eat. Feel the weather on your skin.
The good news is that this activity does not take any more of your time. You just do what you always do, except that you are paying full attention.
Being fully present – awake and aware – in our daily activities can lead to a more vibrant and satisfying life. It is living a meditation.
