This picture is a bit blurry because I am feeling a bit blurry about the snow. I, like so many others, am ready for the cold weather to end. I am ready to see some Spring. As much as I can possibly enjoy snow and Winter, I am done with it. But it is not done yet. It continues to snow in several parts of the country.
I found myself wondering if it would ever end yesterday while I watched the snow falling. I know that is a silly question. Of course it will end. Of course Spring will come. But in it’s own time. Not when I want it to. So I continue to find ways to enjoy the beauty of the cold. I still am looking forward to the warmth, but I am okay until it gets here.
How many situations can we apply this to? How many times are we so done with a situation, but there does not seem to be any end in sight? The same applies here. We can count on change. Things always change. This too shall pass. But maybe not in our time, maybe not how quickly we want it to. That is okay. We can continue to seek out and find the beauty in the situation while we wait for the change to happen. We can be okay until it gets here.
Practice patience after you have done everything under your control to change a situation. It will change. We can always count on change.

Very well said. Wish you a wonderful day. (We’re getting liquid sunshine here at the moment – necessary for spring flowers 😉 )

all I know is that I’m done with the winter weather, too – and I want it done and over with quickly – in my time!! 🙂

Beautifully said. When I remember to stay present to whatever is and accept it as it is, I move into deep peace and contentment. Thank you. ❤

I tend to think we can rage against it too! Sometimes giving myself time to scream, rant and be down about something can move it out of my body and help me to get to a better place.
