There are many benefits to meditation.  Meditation is a powerful way to take care of ourselves.

Meditation:
Can give us a deep level of physical and mental relaxation.
Can lower our blood pressure.
Can lessen our stress and anxiety.
Can help build our immune systems.
Can give us more energy.
Can be good for our hearts.
Can help us with focus and attention.
Can help us find creative solutions.
Can help us clear our thoughts.
Can help us keep things in perspective.
Can help us live in the present moment, which is where our power is.
Can help us feel connected to our Source.
Can give us a deeper sense of inner peace all the time.

Meditation does not have to be complicated.  It can be as simple as sitting in silence.  It also does not have to last all day.  15 minutes of meditation offers us great benefits.  We can give ourselves inner peace just by sitting still and clearing out our heads.
