There is so much benefit to be gained from being still. Purposely being still. We can call it anything we want – meditation, prayer – playtime. Whatever we call it, it is very helpful to be still.
When we are still, we can clear our mind. We can let go of any accumulated stress from the rest of the day – or week. We can listen for Divine inspiration.
Find a quiet space and do not move for awhile. Schedule it into your day if you need to. It is important to let your mind rest. It is a wonderful gift you can give yourself every day.
