Last weekend I got stuck in the snow. I was trying to park and my car slid into a mound of snow.
There were two little boys shoveling across the street. When I got out of the car one of them asked me if I wanted any help. I thanked him and told him I was okay. He said, “It’s okay. I’ll help anyway.” He looked to be six or seven years old.
Both of the boys came over and helped shovel me out. It was so inspiring. I was so grateful. I found some hot cocoa for them and a few dollars. They did not ask for anything.
We can be quick to say we are okay when someone asks if they can help us. I would love to live in a world where we all help anyway.
