When something happens that we really do not enjoy at all – when we think we have lost something or someone – when we feel hurt and sad over something that happened – the best thing to do is to do “normal” things. Just as soon as possible.
We can get lost in loss and sadness. It is important to experience our emotions in order to let them go – but holding on to sadness for too long can become very heavy. It can stall out our lives.
It may not feel “normal” to do “normal” things for a little while, but getting back on track can be as easy as making a meal or going for your evening walk.
When you feel sad, do something “normal.”
