Last week we talked about how worry is not helpful – unless it motivates us to make a change.  When we worry, we are focused on the problem.  When we worry, we just see more things to worry about.  Worry just spins things around inside our heads.  When we worry, we do not find solutions.

Worrying can become a habit.  It is a learned response to challenges.  We are often taught how to worry by our caregivers when we were children.

Solutions rarely show up when we are worried.  Next time you catch yourself worrying, pause and relax.  Take a deep breath and let it go.  Get a new view if you need to.  Look at things in different ways.  Often when we take a break and relax, our solutions show up.
