When we have too many things on our plates, we can feel heavy and weighed down.  Sometimes it can even feel overwhelming just to think about all the things we have to do.  All of those things on our lists that we put off doing drags our energy down.

Let’s take a good look at our to-do lists today and think about all the things we have been putting off.  There is no need to be overwhelmed. We can lighten our energy by tackling the list, one thing at a time.  And we can pare down our lists too.  If it does not have to be done, and we do not want to do it, let’s let it go.  Let’s finish it or take it off our lists.  Let’s clean our plates.

It’s an amazing way to raise our energy and to create some space in our lives for things we really want to do – like enjoy a beautiful view from a park bench.
