The holiday challenge I would like to issue to you is this:  Give something to someone that they cannot hold in their hands.  Something you cannot buy.  Make it a random act of kindness.

Help your neighbor in with the groceries – tutor a child in reading for an hour – call a nursing home and see if there is an opportunity to volunteer (or any non profit agency).  Drive a friend to the store.  The possibilities are endless, but you will have to keep your ears and eyes open for the opportunities as they come your way.

Things that don’t cost money can be the most valuable gifts of all.  Plan to give a lot this holiday season – you can afford it.
