When we worry about the future, we are not living in our moments.  Our personal power is in our moments.  That is the only time we can actually take action and do something to help ourselves.  We cannot be fully effective when we are worrying about the future because our attention is off of the present moment.  When we stop worrying about what we cannot control (the past or the future), we can make powerful choices that can completely change our lives.

Instead, we can just keep doing our best.  We can take deep breaths when things start to feel overwhelming.  We can do what we can to be prepared for whatever happens.  We can remind ourselves that it is going to be okay.  We can take more deep breaths and remind ourselves to stay in the moments, where our power is.

We can always make different choices about how we think about things when we are ready.
