Just breathe.  Take a deep breath right now – and slowly let it go.  Spend a few minutes just noticing how you are breathing.  Is your breath shallow?  Are you taking short breaths?  Consciously inhale and exhale again.  And adjust your breathing now.

It is not about what happens around us, it is about how we respond to what happens around us.  We can respond, rather than react, when we come from a place of inner peace.  The quickest way to inner peace is through our breathing.

No matter what is going on around you, remember to take a deep breath and remember that you are doing your best, just the way you are, right now in this moment.  Breathe it in.
