We live our stories out every day.  Stories that are emotionally charged are often lived out over and over though.  We relive our stories every time we think about them and every time we tell them.

Our stories can be valuable and powerful.  Telling them can heal us and others at times.  But when we get stuck in a painful story and relive it often, we can choose to let it go.

Often we do not want to let go of our painful stories because we have come to identify with them.  We feel like there is no way we can let them go.  Our story has become a part of us.  But we can choose to let them go.  We can get out of our story and choose to live in the present moment.

Sometimes we need to let our story go so that we can have inner peace.
