Changing Your Thinking

Our inner thoughts can bring us down, or they can help us soar.  How do you talk to yourself?  What do you say to yourself in your head?

Our thoughts may seem automatic, but they are not.  We can choose our thoughts.

We can consciously stop and notice what we are thinking – and we can change what we are saying to ourselves.  We are the only one who can change this.  It is up to us.

Stop throughout the day and pay attention to what you are thinking.  If you find yourself thinking less than loving thoughts – stop and have three very loving thoughts to replace them.  Eventually it will feel more natural to always change up to loving thoughts.  Just keep practicing.  Saying loving things to ourselves can help us soar.
