Step Away From Your Devices

We can unplug from all of our devices. It’s okay to miss a few things. It’s okay to miss the news. It will be there when you get back. Sometimes it’s necessary to just take a break.

When we start to feel overwhelmed – there is so much going on in the world, all the time – we can tune out.  We can tune into what’s really important to us. We can take care of ourselves. The world will keep spinning.

Nature is one of the very best stress relievers. Finding a walking trail can be one of the best ways to unplug and begin to rejuvenate ourselves. We can have a picnic on the beach. We can wade in a creek. We can wander around under big trees or climb up mountains.

However you decide to unplug and refresh yourself is good for you. And you can be much more effective after you give yourself a break. You can come back with fresh ideas and ways to solve problems. It’s okay to step away.
