It can be easy, especially when we are already stressed out, to make a big deal out of something that is not such a big deal.
Sometimes we have to be very honest with ourselves and take a step back when we feel overwhelmed. We can ask ourselves important questions – are we making a bigger deal out of this situation than it really is? Can we break down this challenge and move ahead now?
When we think about our challenges, sometimes they can seem very, very large. But we can break those challenges down into smaller steps. We can take a deep breath and take the first step without thinking about the next 5 steps.
Let’s get honest about how we react and respond to our challenges. We are much more effective and productive when we do not make mountains out of molehills.
