How To Raise Your Own Spirits

When we take the time to be grateful every day we are focused on what we love.  The more we focus on what we love, the more we see of it.

It can be easy to pay attention to what we do not enjoy.  It can feel like road blocks in our way to happiness – what we do not enjoy.  Or like an elephant in the room.  When we see things in our lives that we do not enjoy, paying attention to them just brings more.

When we find ourselves thinking about things we do not enjoy, we can redirect ourselves – we can redirect our thoughts.  We can replace that thought with gratitude for something we do enjoy.  For something we feel is a blessing in our lives.
