We can feel great when we do loving, healthy things for ourselves. Eating healthy, whole foods – taking walks – taking care of ourselves.
We use a lot of excuses why we do not care for ourselves properly – not enough time, just do not know how – do not feel like we deserve loving care – we have too many others to care for already. But we can make time. It may be challenging, but we can do it.
And it is more than just taking care of our bodies – doing loving things for ourselves can include our spirits and our minds. Meditating, learning new things – learning new ways to be peaceful and loving.
Taking care of ourselves means loving ourselves and when we love ourselves, that can spill out to all the others in our lives.
