Interrupt Yourself

Get out and take a walk on a weekday morning.  Visit a museum for lunch.  Have tea in the park.  Call someone you haven’t talked to in awhile.  Better yet, go visit them.  Go to the beach or to a play.  Find some live music playing in your area.  Do something you have never done.  Paint.  Go to a yoga class.  Take some photos.  Sit down at the dinner table for a meal and light some candles.

When we interrupt our usual schedules, we can get a whole new perspective – new, fresh energy – and possibly even solutions to challenges that we didn’t think of when we were overthinking it.  Any time we do something new, we use our brains in new ways.  This can interrupt our stress and worries.  Interrupting ourselves can be very productive.

I love to hear from you!
