A great morning can start the night before. We can set ourselves up for success when we plan a little ahead. Having our coffee or tea ready to brew, our clothes picked out, our goals chosen, can be very helpful in having a good start to the new day. We can start fresh, but with a head start by taking a few minutes to prepare the night before.
Think about your morning routine and everything you do to start the day. What can you do to set yourself up well the night before? It might help to make a list and follow it until it becomes a great habit. When we are not pressured and stressed, trying to get everything done in the morning, we can relax and enjoy our breakfast, enjoy our drive to work or getting the kids ready for school. Planning ahead takes the stress out of the morning and gives us back some sanity.
