Are we building bridges or burning them? We build bridges when we are compassionate, loving, forgiving and kind. We burn bridges when we are frustrated, angry and fed up. But frustration and anger do not last forever – unless you choose that forever, and why would you when frustration and anger – long term – have debilitating effects on our spirit, mind and even our bodies?
The next time you come to a bridge, extend a hand rather than light a match. Our heated emotions come and go – but our friends and family – our work and social circle – are important in our lives. Let’s have compassion and forgiveness for others. Let’s build more bridges.
