Let The Stress Go

Where does your spill off go?  When you are stressed, tense or fearful….where does your energy go?  Do you inflict it on yourself and just keep it all inside?  Do you inflict it on others?  The longer we hold onto our dense, heavy emotions – the more they build up.  Eventually they can spill over at times that are not appropriate and in ways that are not loving.

All of that stress, tension and fear – any heated or heavy emotion that feels challenging – you can choose to let it go.

Sit with your feelings today.  Meditate with them.  Give them some space.  Listen to them.  Thank them – yes, even the fear has something to teach you.  Then let them go.  Let them spill over and flow on.

  1. It’s funny how each day I can feel a different way about a situation. One day I’m angry, the next day I’m blaming myself, and on and on til eventually it usually dissipates. I try to remind myself of this every time I’m going through something stressful…. this too shall pass, after I process it. Thank-you for sharing.
