Spend some time this weekend giving yourself meaningful treats. Not just anything. Nothing random.
What is meaningful to you? A cup of tea and a 10 minute break? A walk in the park? A healthy lunch with a friend? A phone call to someone you love? A great book to read? What is meaningful is also what is good for us – what makes us feel good when we do it and later on too.
Really think about what is meaningful to you – and give it to yourself this weekend. It is a wonderful way to love ourselves – and that love always spills over to others around us. When we do this on a consistent basis, we keep our cup full. When our cup is full, it is easy to give to others.
