It is not always easy to find the only good thing. Sometimes we can believe it is next to impossible. But when we look with open and loving eyes, we can find the only good thing.
And the thing about finding the only good thing is that we can change our focus with it. When we think about all the “bad” things – that’s what we are focused on and that’s what we see more of. But when we find the only good thing – we can begin to change our focus and change what we are seeing more of. The only good thing can give us more good things.
In our difficult situations, looking for the only good thing can help bring us out of it.
