How We Respond Is Very Important

Sometimes things show up that we do not really enjoy.  Sometimes people around us say things we do not enjoy hearing.  Sometimes they do things we do not enjoy.

It happens to all of us.  No matter how enlightened or asleep we are.  Sometimes things happen.

It is our reaction to them that makes all the difference.  We can control our reactions – and turn them into responses.  Instead of “automatically” reacting based on past experiences – we can take a breath, take a new look at what is happening and choose our response.

We can feel much better about ourselves when we respond in a calm and loving way.
