As Perfect As We Are Supposed To Be

How much time do we spend trying to fix what is “wrong” with us?  When we turn on the television, we see commercials about what and how we need to change.  We spend – time, money, effort – on being better all the time.

The truth is that we are all doing our best here.  And while we can move into more fuller versions of ourselves, we cannot be better at who we really are.  We are perfectly fine the way we are.

Once we begin to embrace and accept ourselves, we can relax.  We do not need to fix anything.  We can express more of who we are – but we do not need to change ourselves all the time.

We are all uniquely different – with our own set of gifts and talents to offer the world.  And that is as perfect as we are supposed to be.

I love to hear from you!
