What is weighing on you today? What do you have to do? What are your responsibilities? Do you think it is too much? Are the things you have to do today burdens?
Who said you have to do all of that? Who put all that weight on your shoulders?
If you are an adult, then on some level you have agreed to do these things. You chose to do it. And you can choose differently, although it may mean some very big changes in your life. You can also choose to make the best of it, if you don’t think it’s time to move on.
Feeling overwhelmed and burdened can cloud our thinking. Lighten up and let go a little at a time, if that feels right. Explore why you feel weighed down and consider those decisions you have made. Getting a new perspective can be very helpful. Take a couple of steps back and look at things from an observational point.
