You Are Not Your Problems

Our problems can easily become our focus. We tend to focus on any negativity in our lives. Sometimes we entirely miss any positivity when we are stressed and focused on our problems. Our problems begin to feel like they are taking over.

But we are not our problems. Our problems come and go in our lives, they are not usually permanent. And even if they are permanent, they will still change over time. Everything passes. Everything changes.

We short change ourselves and those we love when we let our problems take over our lives. If we have done everything we know to do to solve the problem and it is not working, we can give it a rest. We can think about something else. We can realize that the problems are not our entire life. We are not our problems.
